Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 LTE And Note 4 To Be Released
Samsung fans should brace for a double salvo from the Korean tech giant in the next few days.
Following months of speculation, Samsung has announced that it will indeed offer customers a new version of its Galaxy Ace series.
The new Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 LTE will, like its predecessors, allow users to enjoy some of the key features offered by flagship phones like the Galaxy S4 and S5 but at pocket-friendly prices.
Come 17th October, the price-conscious smartphone owner can pick up the Ace 4 from EE or O2, both of which have announced that they will have the phone in stock. You can either get it under contract or SIM-free. There are also a number of online stores that will offer the new Galaxy Ace.
Like its name suggests, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 LTE has 4G capability and with the infrastructure in place for this technology in many parts of the UK, this should boost demand.
It will give this phone a bit of an edge over one of its primary competitors, the highly popular Moto G. Motorola’s latest budget phone only features support for 2G and 3G networks.
However, in other regards the Galaxy Ace 4 takes a licking from the Moto G. Motorola’s device offers a significantly bigger display at 4.5 inches as compared to the Galaxy Ace’s 4.0-inch screen.
The Galaxy Ace 4’s internal memory is limited to a paltry 4 GB as compared to the Moto G which comes with either 8 or 16 GB.
But on the upshot the Ace 4 comes with a microSD slot through which users can boost storage all the way to 64 GB.
In other regards the two budget phones cannot be separated. Both of them feature a 1.2 GHz processor aided by 1 GB of RAM. For pictures both offer the user a 5 MP rear camera.
While the Moto G comes with Android 4.3, users are free to upgrade to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. Samsung’s Ace 4 comes pre-installed with this version of the OS.
Also set for release on the 17th of this month is the highly anticipated follow-up to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 5.7-inch display, making it easy to classify as a phablet. It comes with a dazzling 2k screen and 3 GB of RAM among other amazing specs.
