Iphone 6 Set to Make an Appearance

The upcoming WWDC is widely billed as a software event and the most exciting development Apple were expected to announce is the iOS 8 platforms. But it turns out we could be in for a pleasant surprise.

The hotly anticipated Apple flagship phone, the iPhone 6, could be unveiled at this San Francisco event. Some footage of what appears to be a rehearsal on the stage screen seem to show pictures of the iPhone 6 from various angles.

This has got gadget freaks speculating that the iPhone might appear much sooner than the mooted September release date.

The images presented in the slides look very similar to those of mock-ups of the iPhone earlier leaked on nowhereelse.fr and other sites.

If this is indeed the case, we could be in for a very interesting event as word is that the iWatch will also be launched at the WWDC.

Before you begin breaking your piggy bank you might want to consider that the video is not from an official source, although it was submitted by a usually reliable source.

If, and that is a big if, the iPhone will be released this coming week, we might see it in 4.8-inch and 5.5-inch versions.

Although analysts say that the more likely scenario is that the 5.5-inch phablet will be seen much later.

With each passing leak anxiety is further heightened and many will be glad to see the new iPhone just 8 months after its predecessor was launched.

A recent development courtesy of PhoneArena actually found the video to be a fake, deflating the hopes of Apple fans the world over.

Apparently the picture of the iPhone 6 that appears in the footage of the rehearsals as part of a slide show was fitted in by some Photoshop experts.

And, go figure, they were the pictures of iPhone 6 dummies that have been doing the rounds in the Internet in the recent past.

I’m sure now some iPhone fanatics have a few suggestions as to what should be done to the forger. So we’re back to the speculating game on the iPhone 6 release date though all indicators point to a September release date.

Besides this being the time of year Apple has released its flagships in the recent past, there were reports of workers in Germany Apple Stores being barred from taking holidays in September.
